My Story
With two decades of experience as a hairstylist, Misty possesses an extensive skill set in hair coloring and cutting, with a specialty in extensions. Her passion for beauty and style not only fuels her creativity but also gives her a competitive edge in the industry. She is dedicated to continuous education, ensuring that she stays informed about the latest trends and techniques.
For over ten years, Misty has served as an educator for Redken, traveling across the United States and collaborating with esteemed industry artists. Her experience includes direct involvement with Redken's National Design Team at high-profile fashion shows, an endeavor that is both demanding and rewarding.
Misty has been a certified Great Lengths Extensionist for over 13 years and has also developed expertise with both Great Lengths and The Hair Shop extension lines. A
With her own experience of having naturally curly hair, she understands how to adapt her techniques to achieve optimal results. Furthermore, she frequently takes her skills beyond the salon to provide services for photo shoots and television appearances, adding another layer of specialization.
Although Misty is recognized as a "long hair specialist," she enjoys styling hair of all lengths. Her primary passion lies in coloring, balayage, and finishing techniques—clients frequently seek her expertise for these specific services, whether it’s for a simple blowout or a more intricate style.
Outside of her professional commitments, Misty enjoys outdoor activities. Paddleboarding, hiking, and golfing rank among her favorite pastimes. Along with her husband, Mike, and their son, Miles, as well as their energetic lab, she embraces the vibrant Colorado sunshine.
